Description
The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) works to create community engagement experiences that inspire and empower students by connecting them with the University, their studies, and each other, while having a positive impact on the surrounding community.
Pioneers for Change (PFC) student leaders support these efforts by working as peers leaders for CCE programs and activities. The guiding principles of the PFC program are Personal, Professional, and Social Responsibility, which for us means personal accountability, self-motivation, respect for others, motivating others, and a commitment to making a difference within the community.

Pioneers for Change (PFC) Student Leadership Program
Pioneers for Change (PFC) is a "serve, learn, and earn" program within the Center for Community Engagement at CSUEB.
PFCs:
- Work as peer leaders for community engagement through Saturdays of Service, Make a Difference Day, and College Corps
- Support and lead community and civic awareness events such as Make a Difference Week, National Voter Education Week, and Week of the Volunteer
- Support other university events that engage and connect students.

Why are donations necessary?
Donations will support the continued efforts of PFC in community engagement and leadership development opportunities, and making a positive impact in the larger community.
